We are joined with JD Gildemeister, the new GM from the Oshkosh Food Co-op, and President of the Board of Directors of the Oshkosh Food Co-op, Brenda Haines, for Episode 33 on The Barkada Podcast!
JD shares how he transitioned from a different area in the hospitality business and into the the co-op world. Brenda shares her history with the Oshkosh Food Co-op along with the roles that she has had over the years from the very idea of having a community owned grocery store, to her current role as President of the Board of Directors.
We look into the current state of the Co-op and how it’s doing, along with the many new and exciting changes that have been made during the store “reset.”
We even came up with a cool idea where you may see Manila Resto and other local restaurants popping in at the Oshkosh Food Co-op for a demo and taste testing with some recipe sharing!
